Every land decision deserves the full picture and a traceable chain of evidence.Footnote 1

Planning intelligence for Australia, from Perth. We connect the public record about a place and cite every finding to its source.

What it does

Our first product is a site due diligence tool, now in build. You give it an address. It finds the land parcel, then works through the planning controls and constraints that apply to it: zoning, overlays, heritage listings, bushfire and flood mapping, and similar.

Each line in the result names the dataset it came from, the custodian who publishes it, the date it was retrieved and the licence it is published under. You can follow any finding back to the record and check it yourself.

How a report reads

A report is a list of plain statements about one site. Each has a value, a status and a source. The status is one of four, because sometimes the honest answer is that we could not check.

Illustrative. The address, values and sources above are placeholders for a fictional site. They show the layout of a report, not real results.

Coverage

Western Australia, New South Wales and Victoria come first. That is where we are doing the work of connecting state and local datasets in depth.

Any Australian address will be searchable. How much comes back depends on what each state and council publishes, and on what terms.Footnote 2 Where we have no source, or a source could not be checked, the report says so. A gap is shown as a gap.
